Online Ordering
Restaurant online ordering
DoorDash, Grubhub, Uber Eats, and others send the ticket into FoodTronix Point of Sale and print in the kitchen. Ready in October. Your own ordering page comes next.
What this does
- Marketplace tickets land in FoodTronix Point of Sale and print in the kitchen
- It’s finally time to get rid of all those tablets
- The menu is the same menu as the register. You are not typing a second one
- Your own ordering page comes next, so guests see your food the way you want it seen
Why restaurants want this
Online ordering is not a gadget. It is a bigger check, fewer remakes, and people who stay on the floor.
The check goes up
Paytronix, 2024: guests who order on the restaurant’s own page order 35% more items per check than marketplace orders. At lunch and dinner they also spend about 30% more per visit.
More of the night
Paytronix: online was 27% of restaurant and c-store orders in 2023. The top quarter of operators saw online at 62% of their tickets. TouchBistro, 2025: 82% of operators said online ordering sales rose last year. Among those, off-premise sales were up 32% on average.
The guest types it
They pick the size, the toppings, and the sides. The ticket prints in FoodTronix Point of Sale. Nobody copies it off a tablet. Nobody writes it down from a loud phone. That cuts remakes and keeps staff on the make line.
Ready in October
Guests keep ordering in DoorDash, Grubhub, Uber Eats, and the other apps they already use. The ticket comes into FoodTronix Point of Sale and fires the kitchen the same way a counter order does. Your people do not re-key it.
Your ordering page comes next
Right after that, guests can order on a page that is yours. The menu, the prices, and the way the food is shown come from FoodTronix. Pickup and delivery. Tips, tax, and the fees you set. You decide how your concept looks. That is the part marketplaces will not give you.
True pizza online
Most POS-tied online ordering does not really do pizza. Toast’s own storefront does not support portions (first half / second half). DoorDash and Uber Eats through that stack do not either. Square owners build Side A and Side B topping lists. People spend hours stacking size and topping modifiers, or they stop letting guests split a pie.
A 2023 OnePoll survey of 5,000 US adults, reported by PMQ Pizza: when they cannot decide on toppings, 72% said they would likely order half-and-half. If the site cannot do that, they call, they leave, or they order a lesser pizza.
FoodTronix custom Online Ordering uses the same true pizza as the register. Sizes, halves, and toppings come from FoodTronix Point of Sale. Guests order the pizza they would order at the counter. The kitchen gets a ticket it already knows how to make. You do not give up what your guests need so the website can work.
- Delivery zones and driver management ship with the custom page, so house delivery is yours to run
- Marketplace apps can still deliver their own tickets. Your drivers handle the orders that leave from your page
Same team as the register and the phones
Online Ordering sits with FoodTronix Point of Sale, the restaurant phone system, and FoodTronix Sites. One place to call. Phones can already text a guest a link to ordering. When your page is live, that link can be yours.
FAQ

Marketplace tickets in the POS and kitchen. DoorDash, Grubhub, Uber Eats, and others send the order into FoodTronix Point of Sale. Guests still order in those apps. Your cooks work from the same tickets they already know.
Do I need FoodTronix Point of Sale?
Yes. That is how the ticket reaches the kitchen. It’s finally time to get rid of all those tablets.
What is the custom ordering page?
It comes next, after October. Guests order on a page that uses your FoodTronix menu and how you want the concept to look. Pickup and delivery. You are not stuck with how a marketplace draws your food.
Does it handle real pizza?
